Letter of Guarantee to Controller of Immigration, Singapore

Furnish a S$5,000 security bond on the employer’s behalf to the MOM.

Personal Accident

Pays to the maid or her legal representative if she sustains bodily injury by accidental mean during the policy period.

Accidental means an unforeseen and unexpected event which is independent of any other cause and within 12 months result in death or disablement or expense.

(C) Medical expenses

Medical, surgical, hospital, nursing home or massage expenses incurred during the policy period resulting from an Accident and certified as essential by a registered medical practitioner.

Hospital & Surgical Expenses

The Insurance Company will reimburse the Employer for Hospital and Surgical Expenses necessarily incurred as a result of accident sickness or disease sustained by the maid commencing or occurring during the policy period.

Benefit of S$5,000 per annum means the benefit available will be S$5,000 for every 12 months during the policy period.

Daily Benefit

Pays to the maid a daily recuperation expense amount during the maid stay in hospital

Repatriation Expenses

Reimburse the Employer for the actual repatriation expense when:

1.        conveyance of maid to her country of origin if the maid is certified to be medical unfit to perform her duties as a domestic maid under her contract for the next 6 months from the date of illness or accident

2.        Burial or cremation and/or conveyance of body or ashes to country of origin

It is very important that a detailed account (budget) must be submitted to the insurance company for approval before any arrangement can be made for the repatriation; otherwise the Employer will not be reimbursed.

Wages & Levy Reimbursement

Pays to the Employer the Pro-rata salary and levy in the event that the Employer suffers loss of service of the maid caused by hospitalization due to illness or accident covered and payable by this policy.

Re-Hiring Expenses

Pays to the Employer the agency fees incurred in hiring a replacement maid as a result of termination of service due to death or permanent disability from accident.

The replacement must be done within 30 days from termination and Employer must obtain prior agreement from insurance company for the expense.

Outpatient Kidney Dialysis / Cancer

Pays the Employer the actual expenses for Outpatient Kidney Dialysis and Cancer treatment in Singapore.

Special Grant

Pays the Maid following her demise from any cause.

Reimbursement of Indemnity Paid to Insurer (Excess S$1,000)

Reimburse the Employer if the S$5,000 security bond has been forfeited due to breach of conditions by the Maid, including her unexplained disappearance.

This is after S$1,000 excess.

It will not reimburse if the Employer is the party that breaches the conditions.

提供给劳工部的保证金保险

为雇主向劳工部提供S$5,000 的保证金保险。

个人意外保险

当女佣在保险期间因意外受伤,补偿给女佣或指定法律代表。

意外指不可预测的事件并与其他事件无关;并且在未来12个月内因该事件导致死亡、残废、或费用。

在保险期间因意外所导致的医疗、手术、住院、康复中心、或按摩的费用。该费用应由注册医生检定必须接受的疗程。

补偿雇主已经支付女佣在保险期间因意外疾病必须导致的住院及手术费。

该保障的S$5,000每年度限额指在保险期间每12月保险额度。

给女佣每天住院康复津贴

遣返费用

补偿雇主所支付的遣送费用:

1.        因健康理由,在疾病或意外后连续6 个月不能担任女佣合同规定的职务而需遣送女佣回国

2.        埋葬或火化并需要将遗体或骨灰送反回国

非常重要:必须将报价表给保险公司并得到保险公司的事先同意;否则雇主可能得不到保障。

薪金与劳工税补偿

赔偿雇主因失去女佣服务的期间所需缴付的薪金和劳工税。女佣是因为该保险承保的疾病或意外住院。

再雇用费

支付雇主因女佣死亡或残废而需要重新聘请女佣所需支付的女佣中介费。

取代女佣必须在30日内聘请。雇主也需要得到保险公司的事先同意。
