Maid Insurance

​​Though MOM requires all Maid Insurance to provide at least Personal Accident coverage of $60,000 and Medical coverage of $60,000, there are still benefits in the policy you can take note of to make it worth your premium.
What does it cover?
Domestic Helper's Liabilty
Indemnity against any sums resulting from accidental bodily injury to any third parties, and accidental damage to any third parties’ properties, as committed by your domestic helper.
Re-Hiring Expenses
This covers the agency fees for a replacement should your domestic helper be terminated due to death or permanent disability.
Daily Wages & Levy Reimbursement
If your domestic helper is hospitalised, it will be most ideal if your domestic helper's insurance policy can cover for her wages during this period.
Special Grant
This covers funeral expenses that is payable to your domestic helper's family.
Outpatient
Expenses
Medical benefits do not include outpatient expenses so it is important to know how much is covered in the event outpatient treatment is needed.
Damage or Theft of Maid's Personal Belongings
Theft or damages to your domestic helper's personal belongings will be covered under this benefit.

In terms of application processing, we do the online transmission to ministry of manpower.
Employers can directly check its status at work permit online the next working day. Once approved, they can arrange the maid to enter Singapore. Meanwhile for renewal case, employer can proceed straight away to renew online.
